João Pinto, or João Manuel Pinto[1], full name João Manuel Pinto Tomé Santos (born May 26, 1973 in Carcavelos), is a former footballer from Portugal.
During his career, central defender Pinto represented Clube Oriental Lisboa, C.F. Os Belenenses, Futebol Clube do Porto and Sport Lisboa e Benfica, retiring in 2007 after abroad stints with Ciudad de Murcia (Spain's Segunda División) and FC Sion (in the Swiss Super League).
